1. IMPORT OF DUTY FREE CAR UNDER MALASIAN MY SECOND HOME PROGRAMME. |

OUR SERVICES AND GUIDELINES.
Document required fro, the applicant:
a - Letter of application stating desire / wish to import Duty Free vehicle under “ Malaysia My Second Home “ program.
b - Letter authorizing us to handle and process your documents here in Malaysia.
c – Three certified true copies of MM2H approval.
d – Three certified true copies of Passport containing page with your personal information and page with multiple entry visa with the words “Malaysia My Second Home” program.
e – Three certified true copies of the Motor vehicle registration card. If not in English, a translation.
f – Three certified true copies of Vehicle insurance certificate.
g - Three certified true copies of Driving License.
All copies must be certified true copies of original documents by Commissioner of Oaths / Notary public / Solicitor. |

- Completed application form along with the above documents will be submitted by us on behalf of you to secretary general treasury, ministry of finance Malaysia and tax analysis division to obtain confirmation letter for exemption of duty.
- Once confirmation letter is obtained, it will be submitted along with copies of your relevant documents to the ministry of international trade and industry for approval permit (AP)
The above process will take around 30days.
Upon issuance of Approval Permit (AP) Vehicle can be shipped to Malaysia.
- Once the vehicle is unloaded to a Malaysian port, we will engage the services of Clearing & Forwarding company to have the cleared upon completion of port & Malaysian Royal Customs formalities.
- We will then take the vehicle to the motor vehicle department (JPJ) to convert the existing motor vehicle registration to Malaysian motor vehicle registration. To do so, the motor vehicle registration fee, road tax fee and the insurance fee has to be paid upon these processes.
- After these formalities are completed, we will apply and obtain the vehicle number plate issued by the motor vehicle department.
The above process will take around Five (5) working days.
The vehicle will be then delivered to you as instructed.
You’re obligations
- Arrange forwarding company in your country to ship the vehicle to Malaysia.
- Make arrangement to pay the clearing and forwarding company their charges along with payment incurred as port and custom clearing charges which will depend upon the volume and specification of the cargo.
- Make arrangement to pay the motor vehicle department registration fee , road tax fee, insurance and puspakom test charge with will depend on the specification of the vehicle.

- To obtain letter of approval from ministry of finance Malaysia for treasuries exemption of import duty, exercise duty and sales tax.
- To submit above documents and obtain approval permit (AP) from ministry of international trade and industry to purchase duty free vehicle.
- Attend to all custom & port formalities once the vehicle arrives in Malaysia.
- Obtain motor vehicle department approval, registration of vehicle, road tax, puspakom test, insurance and etc.
